about

Drummond Castle– trad.
The Knocknagow– trad.

‘Drummond Castle’ is a Scottish tune named after a castle built by Sir John Drummond, a descendant of Sir Malcolm Drummond who fought alongside Robert the Bruce at the Battle of Bannockburn, 1314. Allan and Cameron learnt ‘The Knocknagow’ from the playing of Sean Kenan at the Dan O’Connell sessions in Carlton
